Our friend Don Jones does wonderful work. His music is consistently interesting and passionate. He tops that off by creating captivating videos to accompany the songs he writes.

Todd Douglas was offered the opportunity to sing lead vocal on another Don Jones track. This time Don’s friend Jacqui Penson provided some poignient lyrics. Don threw in some amazing guitar work on an outstanding instrumental arrangement. Todd threw his voice on top of this already killer track. The result is a compelling music video, Feels Like the World’s on Fire.

The song is an impassioned plea for sanity and compassion in a time when things seem to be spinning out of control. While the lyrics are quite evocative the music is an appropriately angsty underscore to drive the point home.

The music video is equally compelling. The video ends with wonderfully hopeful imagery to leave the viewer with a sense of resolve. Check out this track when you get a chance. It is well worth investing 3 minutes of your life.
