Dad Bod

Inspired by our last trip to the beach, Dad Bod is a tongue-in-cheek take on the male physique.

How many dad jokes can we fit into 90 seconds of post-punk goodness?

More Than Fine

It is no secret that Shari and Todd are big fans of the band Switchfoot.  We love their mix of musical styles, thoughtful lyrics, and solid musicianship.  Their live shows never disapoint.

On the aniversary of their breakout album “Beautiful Letdown” the band had other artists release new versions of those songs.  This is our take on one of our favorite songs on the albm.  It is more upbeat but still holds true to the spirit of the song.

Who Told You

This  number features some catchy hooks, funky beats, and interesting lyrics.

If you are in a relationship where you put in more than the other person or they are simply taking advantage of your good nature, do you bear some responsibility for staying in that asymetrical relationship? And when is the right time to walk away?  Can all those questions be answered in a 3 minute pop song?  Give a listen and find out.

New Thing

The song is built around a catchy, sing-along refrain to actively engage audiences in live shows.  The verses feature some funky, danceable riffs that describe the balancing act of any creative endeavor.  The chorus is a unique mixture of traditional and futuristic elements wrapped around a smooth melody.   There is also a fun interplay between Todd and Shari Lynn as the singers swap ad-lib lines in an extended, clap-along coda.

One Minute To Go

One Minute To Go is built around a driving bass line that propells this indie rocker through the passionate, sing-along chorus.  There is a delicate tension between the musical elements that evoke a sense of urgency.  The band is reminding us that it is never too late to change course but it is better to do it sooner than later.

Lonely Road (ft. Jerry Tyson)

This is blues inspired slow jam that rocks hard.  Our friend Jerry Tyson not only provides some killer slide guitar work, he also mixed and mastered the track for us.  When you face tough moments in your life, if you really look, you will realize that you aren’t really alone.

Silent Night

This song is an original treatment of a classic Christmas carol.  It tells the story of 2 girls from different backgrounds who find the meaning of Christmas together.  The story wraps around a reinterpretation of the familiar Christmas song.  Musically we combine traditional and modern elements to craft a song that is as unique as it is touching.
