Don Jones is a talented songwriter, musician, and producer. Todd Douglas met Don during the songwriting workshop mentioned in prior posts. While Don and Todd have different musical leanings they have complimentary approaches to songwriting, arranging, and production.

Don has provided valuable contributions on some percolating Captain Billy’s Whiz Bang songs. And Todd has shared his feedback with Don on some of his projects.

While Don’s tracks tend to be mellower and more orchestral he penned this blues banger and thought Todd’s voice would be a more appropriate vehicle. This is a rocking blues number with some outstanding guitar work. It was a very enjoyable collaboration for all involved.
