A few months ago we had the good pleasure to work with our friend April Foucheux on the song Slow Hand Clap. April is a wonderful singer with a beautiful voice. I played in April’s band years ago before she ran into some health issues and had to stop performing.

In the past year she decided she needed to start performing and creating again. She set up the YouTube channel Owl Jam and Create where she will showcase not only her musical talents but her skills at creative and artistic crafts.

The first video on the channel is a cover of the Stevie Nix/Tom Petty song “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” that April recorded with Todd Douglas. This was a fun project for us and a good learning experience. We tried some new ideas for recording and editing the audio and video. The end result is a fun video that really showcases April’s voice.
