Shari and Todd are both big fans of the band Switchfoot. We love the interesting and eclectic styles in the songwriting, the uplifting lyrics, and the solid musicianship. Their live shows never disappoint. They are inspirational for much of what we do with Captain Billy’s Whiz Bang.

We got an unexpected treat this summer when Switchfoot did a free concert downtown. Even better, our friends GoRyanGo were the penultimate act for the all day festival. A glorious day and exceptional performances by both bands.

We also saw Switchfoot when they toured for the anniversary of The Beautiful Letdown album. That anniversary saw a re-release of the album with friends of the band performing covers of each of the songs. Really a worthwhile way to spend an hour listening.
